When it comes to creating custom reports etc I find it a bit difficult to do and doesn't seem to have the customisation I'd like it to have. We used to use the marketing hub as well for about a year but to be honest was very expensive but the CRM system pricing is great for us and we continue to use that.

For my day job, we hate that any email that comes into the company is immediately created into a contact. So, for example, if your husband sends you a quick email to your job or if a solicitor sends you junk mail, Hubspot logs that information as a contact and your email is available to everyone at the company to read.
This doesn't seem like a huge deal until you realize that, if you need more contacts after you max out (I think its 500 or something like that) it's an additional $5K to upgrade and get more contact space.

My company have been using it for several years on the marketing side and decided to go with Hubspot sales tools instead of going with Salesforce. While they maintain the easy to use aspect on the sales side we still see how it was not build to support a more complex sales or sales team structure.
