What do you like about Salesforce Marketing?

I can describe several functions that I like about salesforce marketing among them the possibility to communicate with customers in multiple channels since it is more beneficial and it is of greater value for my company to have sales of multiples channels and not a single traditional channel, the ability to develop a personalized digital experience with customers is something I like about salesforce.

Another highlight feature of this tool is the collection of data from multiple origins , collects point of sale data, loyalty databases, CRM, digital behavior data , social media behavior and email marketing campaigns thanks to this can function as a storage of data integrating in one place the data of consumers and relate them to each other .

Regarding marketing intelligence where flows or journey builders are programmed allows me to perform a simple communication flow assuming I want to make an invitation to an event and those who respond to confirm it by means of an sms , journey builder is a graphical tool that allows us to configure this communication is also stored this information to improve knowledge about consumer preferences, we can design all kinds of marketing processes from the simplest to the most complex processes of the company since we have different sources of information, it allows me to carry out a communication process for the renewal of recurring services with customers which is an advanced functionality.

The journey builder module can work with automation studio which serves us to segment the customers and choose with whom we communicate , this allows me to put me in contact with customers who more than 90 days ago do not make any purchase , this functionality generates the list of necessary customers that we introduce in a process of the journey builder module being able communicate with those customers such as sending them temporary emails with service offerings and unresponsive customers enter a remarketing campaign specially designed to make them eat products again.

Salesforce marketing also has email studio , mobile studio, social studio and advertising studio to communicate with customers through emails, sms, push messages, social networks and advertising campaigns

There are characteristics that I like about the analitic section which has reports and has two different ways of managing it, on the one hand use the same analitic reports that the tool gives us and on the other hand is the possibility to download all the raw data and use an external tool to perform the analysis, it also has a very interesting called einstein productive content where you can make the prediction of customer behavior regarding the content

marketing cloud has the possibility to divide the operation of the platform under different business units known as business unit, my company is divided into different geographical parts which is of great benefit , also has the possibility of having a business unit associated with a partner so that I can develop coordinated marketing programs, on the other hand there is the possibility of creating a business unit to develop the platform tests

What do you dislike about Salesforce Marketing?

marketing cloud is a set of tools or module , such as advertising studio, mobile studio, emails studio or social studio and this is at the same time the main disadvantage of cloud marketing as it covers all the needs of a digital marketing department such as publishing , email marketing , mobile marketing and even has its own dmp but knowing all these tools makes it relatively complex another complexity that could be mentioned is the team needed to operated the platform first the figure of consultant or business needs this in turn works with a technician in marketing automation and often needs the support of a creative team, a media specialist and even a programmer , also a community manager is needed on the social side

What have you been using it for and what problems did Salesforce Marketing solve?

I`ve been using salesforce to communicate with customers across differents channels , it´s helped me have a better customer experience by getting 86 % more sales profits improving the customer experience , has allowed to better understand and adapt to the ever changing expectations of customers , I have been able to carry out a communication process for the renewal of services recurring with customers which is a very noteworthy feature

What do you like about Salesforce Marketing?

There are many ways to adapt salesforce to companies, this product is one of the most robust platforms today and is ideal for any marketing team, I like it because I can easily manage our social network accounts, Facebook postings, and email marketing campaign automation solutions also like its control panel, which is designed with all the tools to achieve autonomy in the functionalities of the program, and its artificial intelligence guide that tells you how to use it.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Marketing?

It does not have free version nor free trial, this Program can be expensive for small businesses, you need extra staff for the implementation which adds development cost, I recommend hiring a salesforce administrator/developer for your team for the implementation and maintenance process, something that does not have salesforce is emails optimized for the mobile format, landing pages and web forms, I would like to see updates of these in the program, in addition to a trial version of it.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Salesforce Marketing solve?

I was able to organize my projects and advertising campaigns, in addition to their respective costs, I was able to generate leads search, potential customers to send newsletters with attractive designs.

Very expensive and time-consuming to set up. Smaller businesses may lack the resources to implement the system while hiring consultants to assist in setup will strain your budget.
