"One of the best programs to organize your life."

What do you like about Onenote?

It is an application that will allow us to better organize our electronic agenda, which offers us all the classic possibilities of a block of paper applied to modern software. Totally personalized, I am particularly a teacher and I like ecology, the use of a note decreases the use of paper in which we can obviously share digital information. On the other hand, I can say that I like the efficiency with which everything is stored and synchronized based on the cloud.

What do you dislike about Onenote?

I really can't think of many things that I don't like about the product. Maybe the price, but it's free through my university anyway. I had some trouble sharing my notes with a classmate, but there is definitely a way to do it, it just isn't as obvious as some of the other features, and another negative aspect is that the mathematical expression recognizer is not very good at recognizing , and would have been directly implemented in drawings so you can quickly convert everything you've drawn into equations.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Onenote solve?

I have been very useful because it serves to organize meetings with my coworkers, write the milestones that will be discussed at the meeting and how you can share with everyone who is looking for information that will be treated in advance, and what has benefited me much more is I can share with colleagues and the ability to print documents and emails directly on OneNote.

"Easy To Write Notes "

What do you like about Onenote?

I love how I can write notes with OneNote. I love how simple and quick I can write with OneNote. OneNote also has so many fonts and also I love how I can organize my notes with OneNote. I enjoy working on my ideas through OneNote and keep track of daily stuff I have to do. I have so much to do and this helps me stay organized. I have to keep up and OneNote has also an app I use on my phone sometimes. The app is just like the desktop version. Very good and works well. I like to be on the go, so the app has helped me stay connected. The app has the be one of the coolest things OneNote has. Love it!

What do you dislike about Onenote?

The only thing I dislike about OneNote is how sometimes it can be a bit complicated. When I first started I didn't understand it and the saving options, but it got so much better. The helpful notes and tips OneNote has is amazing. I also wish OneNote had loads of more dashboard colors. This would be amazing.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Onenote solve?

It helps me keep track of my notes and also keeps track of what I need to take care of. I like to list out my projects and tasks. OneNote has allowed me to do that with no problem. It has allowed me to also be on the go and not worry if I will loose my writer notes. I love how it's helped me stay on track.

"OneNote is an Excellent Resource"

What do you like about Onenote?

A great advantage of OneNote is how many different types of information can be stored in the same place. Things like mathematical formulas, drawings, and spreadsheets can be saved and edited in OneNote. Information can be linked back to a shared drive and that information can be updated in real time to everyone who is using that OneNote Notebook. The date a page was last edited and the initials of the user who made the edits are included on the page, this is very helpful to see if something is up to date and who made the last changes. OneNote comes installed on Windows 10 machines that have the Microsoft Office Suite, so new users do not have to install anything in order to use OneNote.

What do you dislike about Onenote?

There are a few small things that are clunky or cumbersome with OneNote, but overall these are not things to worry about and do not greatly impede using OneNote effectively. When links are copied either into Outlook emails or into Word documents, the hyperlink is copied in twice once as a link to the OneNote notebook and once as a webview to the online version of OneNote. When a user is reading on OneNote that user's initials are excluded from the last edits available, all other users' initials are visible. When using the search function, it is sometimes easy to accidentally switch from searching specifically in the page and searching in the entire notebook. This can result in searching a page instead of a notebook or vice versa.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Onenote solve?

The main use for OneNote is to document instructions and standard operating procedures for company specific tasks. As there are updates to filenames, procedures, directory locations, or subject matter experts, the OneNote page can be updated and referenced in the future. OneNote is particularly useful as a resource for new employees looking to learn about a new task or procedure. Data reporting on certain metrics can be recorded month over month by multiple users with the guarantee of finding them in the same place. Different types of files from across the Microsoft Office Suite such as Visio Diagrams or Audio Recordings can be saved in OneNote.

"OneNote is in a class of it's own"

What do you like about Onenote?

One Note is really amazing. You can't compare it fairly to things like Google Keep or iNotes. Here's what you can do:
1. there's a built-in browser extension for IE (and one for Chrome) that allows you to save snippits of websites (you can even draw in the site or highlight something) and it saves it as a quick note. You don't have to be logged into OneNote to do this
2. There's a rad app + desktop app
3. The app has LOTS of nesting options. WAY more than google keep. Google keep only allows you to to tags something but OneNote allows you to put into folders and sub folders etc so you ability to organize is much much better. Plus you can tag and search etc. It's night and day
4. OneNote also has shareable folders which they call notebooks. This is great for team collaboration\
5. Full rich text formatting with inline images. Google keep doesn't do inline images nor rich text.

the list goes on and one. It's really fantastic product

What do you dislike about Onenote?

Honestly nothing. I rarely have such a high opinion of a system but this one really deserves the credit. The only bad thing is that your notebooks can take a long time to load if you've added a lot of content to them.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Onenote solve?

Organizing notes and being able to take quick notes while on the fly. So products like google keep and iNote are great for jotting down a quick note but are poor at deep organization or being able to do things like add inline images or rich formatted text etc but OneNote does it all.
