"Udemy is great...especially when there is a sale"

// Graphic Designer at Anthony Garcia

What do you like about Udemy for Business?

I came across Udemy because some software I bought had a Udemy course as a bonus offer. I went through that training, and it was a pretty great bonus. Once I was there I started looking around and before you know it I had a whole bunch of courses I had added to my wish list. The pricing was hugely varied, but pretty regularly they have sales. That's when you should buy the training courses you're interested in.

What do you dislike about Udemy for Business?

I have subscriptions to a couple other learning communities similar to Udemy, and I'm not sure if I like the per course model better or not. To some degree, it is good if you don't have a lot of time, because you aren't being charged if you aren't using it. But I might feel more compelled to stay on top of the progress of learning the things I want to learn if it were a subscription model. So yeah, the pricing (especially the really high priced courses) could use some work. Other than that it's pretty great.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Udemy for Business solve?

I have used Udemy to learn some skills that are more extensive and in-depth than I might learn on Skillshare for example. A lot of these courses are quite long and go deep into the topic at hand. I've found the knowledge to be very worth the time and the cost. Udemy can be a great value to you, especially if you get on their mailing list and pay attention to the sales.
