software that allows to perform various types of communications

// Group Brand Manager at Publix Super Markets

What do you like about Skype?

There are many things that I like about this software, for example it is multiplatform. This means that I can link Skype with computers or notebooks, smartphones, tablets, home landlines, Smart TV and for the Xbox One.
Skype supports several operating systems. For computers, it is possible to install it in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, Mac OS X and Linux. For mobile, in Windows Phone, Symbian OS, Android, BlackBerry 10 and iOS.
An advantage is that the communication between two users with Skype is free, allowing to make a chat, calls by voice and also videoconferences.
The software download is also completely free.

What do you dislike about Skype?

Something that I do not like much is that for most services it is necessary to pay, obviously with this I can talk with any mobile or landline, send text messages, leave an answering machine, among other services. It will obviously be paid according to the amount of data you use.
It is necessary to have a correct Internet connection. From a tablet or a smartphone, we can have problems if we are not connected to a Wi-Fi network. There are usually problems related to the quality of the microphone and also to the resolution of the webcam to make a quality video call. The platform in question that is being used can be slowed down a lot. It often happens with computers, which occupy a lot of RAM.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Skype solve?

Communication is one of the most important aspects of running a business. I work more quickly, smarter and save money. companies can solve any technical communication problem that a company has and, at the same time, benefit the economy of the company. Skype helps you overcome the barriers of expenses, distances and technologies, so that you can get more out of work, wherever you are in the world.

Best for Video calling.

// Software Engineer at Oracle

What do you like about Skype?

It supports conference calling and lots of other features like share screens and privacy of the users. It had saved costs of ordinary telephone calls and you can be connected to the world better and in a reliable way in the same cost. It also saves you from travel expenses as you have face to face meeting with others. Teachers can use Skype for teaching while sitting at home. It saves your precious time and money.

What do you dislike about Skype?

Its an external drawback but when you are out of WI-Fi and uses data connection the quality of video is not well. Skype uses too old emojis and it does not supports stickers and GIF’s. It takes a lot of RAM while using software. When you copy paste files to Skype sometimes it fails. The android app off Skype is also very heavy. When you send files in groups sometimes some of the people are not able to see that files.

Good quick communication tool

// Real Estate at Baird & Warner

What do you like about Skype?

For me the best thing is the ease of use, the immediate synchronization with your contacts, and the good quality of both calls and video calls offered by the Skype service. it is very useful to conduct the company conferences as it gives very smooth experience if you have a decent internet speed.According to my experience i would recommend using Skype rather than any other software as our Basic needs are easily fulfilled by this software.Also the customer support of this software is very good so there is no issue for solving your query.Due this budget friendly features many business firms are making use of Skype for their business meeting as it is also very safe.AS it provides a better security it is implemented by many business firms.

What do you dislike about Skype?

The one thing I don't like about Skype is that it seems to demand more resources than some other video solutions. I find that the other applications that I'm using on my computer slow down significantly. I also have found applications that are heavily reliant upon internet slow down significantly.

Skype and the great collaboration in an organization.

// Co CEO at E*TRADE

What do you like about Skype?

Skype is a platform that I specifically consider it one of the best to make calls, for the following reasons.

- I have noticed that its operation is quite fast and light, it is not necessary to do a quite complex process to make a call or a long distance conference.

- It has group calls, something very functional and that has a great impact for companies.

- Provides a clean interface where accessing each of the sections of the UI is extremely easy.

What do you dislike about Skype?

The problem with Skype is located in the functions that can be exercised from a mobile phone, clearly the functions are almost the same, however the quality of video provided to users is not the same and does not compare at any time with the application for computers. The quality in the phones is ugly, I would like it to be improved for better handling.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Skype solve?

Skype is being an absolute trend within my company, providing an immediate quality in the calls and conferencais we make over long distance. Sometimes in my company we have to make long-distance contracts, and even when we do not have how to communicate with some of our colleagues, with Skype we can do it.

Skype is the best in terms of communication programs.

// Manager Strategy at Kona Grill

What do you like about Skype?

Skype is an excellent program used as 10 hours a day because it has helped me to keep in touch with my colleagues or family. The software is very complete and has generated many people to use it for its high quality, security and design.

What do you dislike about Skype?

What I do not like about Skype is that it is slow at times, and that it has a very old design, I would like to innovate, that will add more favorable features for the public and more designs.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Skype solve?

The benefits obtained with Skype have been excellent since whenever I want I can be in contact with a colleague to provide some information or specific help. Also, I can do workshops in a comfortable and fast way thanks to Skype, which has been using it for more than a year and has not given me any complaints.

Excellent for communicating with friends, family and clients

// Supervisor of Operations at INVENSENSE ITALY S.R.L.

What do you like about Skype?

Skype is an excellent product that will allow you to keep in touch with friends, family and customers. No other product can offer this quality. Skype is used as an instant messenger, as well as a video call, a sharing session, even if it is necessary to record a process. Skype also provides more features for the customer. I use Skype every day thanks to the fact that most of my friends and clients also use this product.

What do you dislike about Skype?

Sometimes the quality of the audio call is bad, this happens only if the internet connection is slow.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Skype solve?

I always had difficulty communicating with my friends and more distant customers until they recommended Skype. Usually I communicated with clients by phone and email ... until I started making video calls with Skype.

The undisputed leader in the video calling market

// independiente at Free-lance

What do you like about Skype?

I like the ease with which the program advances, that they always think of the user in such simple things as the interface, to the stability that each call offers. It is a wonder to be able to count on all its tools to explain to clients in other countries, how to solve the issues related to work. In the personal case, it is ideal to keep in touch with friends and family, it is true that there are other messaging services that have recently included video calls, but none equals the quality and stability that Skype offers. Another important element for me is that it is cross-platform, I can use it on Mac, Linux or Windows, even on my cell.

What do you dislike about Skype?

The customer service could be improved is good, but the response to requests for keys and other is slow compared to the competition. Another element is that it has not evolved into a market dominated by Telegram and WhatsApp, the instant messaging, video calls with your experience can give battle and easily lead the market in this sector. While improvements apply to the stability and quality that is highly valued, have not focused on expanding their resources to new generations and new markets, is an aspect that instant messaging services do not neglect. Improving those aspects the current scenario would change completely for Skype.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Skype solve?

The customer service could be improved it is good, but the response to requests for keys and others is slow compared to the competition. Another element is that it has not evolved to a market Telegram and WhatsApp have dominated the IM, with its expertise in video calls can easily put up a fight and lead the market in this sector. Closed platforms end up closing or passing new features other services, I hope you achieve up innovations that make it more attractive to Skype every day. Which brings me to identify the exclusive use Hotmail account to a calling, their chances would be good amass looking for a better mechanism than a single registration email provider.
