Great cloud backup

// Titolare at Studio Ingegneria Mariacci

What do you like about CloudBerry Backup?

I'm a refugee from CrashPlan. I like that I can choose my storage provider for backups and can easily backup to more than one online storage providers. While this review is for the non-profit with a Windows desktop client I would not have used CloudBerry if they didn't also have a Linux client (which I use on my personal computers)

What do you dislike about CloudBerry Backup?

Not much to dislike. It is feature rich enough for my needs. I would like to see deduplication feature on the desktop client.

What do you dislike about CloudBerry Backup?

Easy to setup, multi location backup

// Knowledge Management Content Administrator at Telstra

What do you like about CloudBerry Backup?

I have only been using it a short time, but it has been easy to set up and crate both a local backup to a NAS and an online backup to OneDrive.

It had a simple wizard which asked the relevant questions, and was set up in less than 5 minutes.

The ransomware protection also seems to be a great idea, and will protect my Documents from being encrypted.

What do you dislike about CloudBerry Backup?

There are a lot of settings and it doesn't always explain them well. Some popups next to the options would help.

What have you been using it for and what problems did CloudBerry Backup solve?

I needed a way to create bootable backup on local storage with a version uploaded to the cloud to ensure maximum protection from drive failures.
