Customize the gift card program with your brand’s identity and create an incentive to encourage customers to load more money onto their cards.Enroll customers in your gift card program by issuing them a physical or digital gift card. An initial balance can be set for the gift card. Adding money to a gift card requires a funding source. This can be either cash or a debit / credit card. Digital gift cards are emailed to the customer’s email address and can be saved to the Apple Wallet app or the Android WalletPasses app.Charging a customer’s card is as simple as choosing the charge amount and tapping the card against the phone in case of a physical gift card or scanning a QR code of a digital gift card. Customers can check their card’s balance and transaction history online with our wallet web app.Digital cardsA digital gift card is emailed to the customer’s email address. The email contains a link to allow the customer to register his card by verifying his email address. Once the card is registered he can manage his card online through our wallet web app. The customer also has the option to save his gift card to the Apple Wallet app and Android Wallet passes app. These apps allow a customer to group their digital cards in one place.When a customer wants to use their digital gift card, they simply show the card’s QR code to the merchant who will scan the code with the Loopz app to charge the card or to load more money onto the card. An email will be sent to the customer with the transaction details.Physical cardsA physical gift card is printed with a card design you create. Use our card design creator in the app to create a design and order cards with the design. We’ll print and ship the cards to you. Once you’ve received your cards you can enroll customers in your gift card program with a physical gift card. The cards use NFC technology and require you to hold the card against the phone when prompted by the app. The customer’s account details are written to the card. This technology is very secure and prevents copying of cards to protect your business from fraud.When a customer wants to use their physical gift card, they hand the card to the merchant who taps the card against the phone to charge the card or to load more money onto the card.
