What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

The convenient layout, good functionality. Seemed like a perfect solution for us. Has all the integrations we needed (multi-channel). Rapid response from their team up until the moment when we had the first bug with the software.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

3 out of 4 integrations are failing. Cin7 not pulling the right inventory when eBay and Bigcommerce listings come in. Mapping is done properly, they agreed that we're experiencing connection bugs and promised to fix them. We started to experience them over 45 days ago. Nothing fixed so far. Not a single integration. Shipstation - one of the most popular apps for any internet retailer gets at least few orders a day with status change issues. Our customers not getting shipping notifications because of that, neither tracking numbers updates to marketplaces which we didn't notice right away and now have our account at risk because of the low fulfillment statistics.
"Smart buyer" is pretty dumb as well.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Cin7 Omni solve?

Using for multichannel order fulfillment from our own warehouse.
We had basic functionality issues with 3 of our 4 integrations and none of them were fixed.
I offered them to pause our monthly subscription payments until they fix the issue but they simply ignored my message and charged the CC 5 days later.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

Cin 7 and Chandni have been great in assisting with the on boarding and transition from our chaotic manual excel system to a much more streamlined and advanced system that has saved me time already and will continue to save me a lot of time in the future. I won't lie that it is difficult getting your head around the changes and all the integrations (which we have many including Magento 2, eBay, Amazon, Xero, StarShipIt and more) but any time I had issues, Chandni and her team assisted greatly to help resolve it. As with anything, the more you are immersed in something, the more confident you become as I can safely say that Cin7 will assist us moving forward for many years to come. We have had specific feedback about further automation processes that will make our lives and no doubt other company lives easier and they take this on board. What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

I have use Cin7 for nearly 1 mouth. Cin7 is very effective for large inventory management. The warehouse manager can easily find the inventory, storage location, and historical storage conditions, from the receipt of orders to the sorting of goods, to the shipment, which is very convenient and can realize efficient and rapid warehouse management. Chandni is enthusiastic and patient, and can solve customer problems in detail. The choice of Cin7 can be satisfied.

Cin 7 is one of few inverntory management systems that has a light manufacturing system.
Webinars and videos are great, although this is new so that are not many yet.
Chandni was very helpful in the testing process after implementation, would have been nice to be able to keep her on our account ongoing since she is familiar with our business and how it works.

Price and initial onboarding process. More videos and webinars would be good. More complex sales options for our online store would be very useful.

Cin7 is quite complicated to learn, but once you have learned the software. I don't think any other system can do as much as Cin7 can.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

CIN 7 allows us to be flexible in our inventory management function with it's range of modules that are available.
It is easy to use, the tutorials are extremely helpful and the customer support is prompt when called upon.

The value add CIN 7 provides to our every day functioning is crucial and it comes at an affordable price as well.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

We wish there was more options for bespoke solutions across the modules.

Also, the communication of data between modules could be improved.

Some functionalities we need is missing. It might be good for some industries but it might not be perfect for another.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

the processes around Purchase Orders, Bills of Materials and Productions jobs certainly save us a lot of time. It handles overseas purchases of component parts with ease. We have over 7,000 component parts to manage and it would be near impossible without CIN7.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

It could do with some improved branch level reporting around the stock-take process and an additional level of authorization for Purchase Orders would be good.

Cin7's flaxibility makes business a lot eaiser, you can get live updated sales and stock and purchasing record to make instant, informed decisions. Cin7’s Pivot-table Reporting is also beneficial. “With [Cin7] reports, you can drag a specific filter, which will give you a different report rather than have a lot of unuseful information." and their support service is quite efficient, prompt as well.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

End user should be informed before they've done any updates otherwise it will cause some issues that affect daily operation especially in retails. and also sometimes the changes just happened without notifying which confused us a little bit and take a time to familiar with. some integration between cin7 and other software needs to be improve as well as it will crash often.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

It has been turned on for 6 weeks and the only major delay to business has been shipping a couple of orders late. Compared to some set-up nightmares I have heard I feel pretty good about that.

My on-boarding guide, Chris, was pleasant to work with and not condescending like so many other men I encounter in tech.

It is affordable for a small-medium sized business. Payment is month-to-month - no big contracts that have to be paid up front.

It connects with most of the other programs we use.

It allows daily batches of payments from retail and web registers so the accounting dept isn't flooded with every individual transaction.

The help section is pretty thorough with clear instructions.

It's pretty easy to bulk-update products, customer, and supplier info.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

It has been six weeks and one of the integrations (NuOrder) is still not working properly.

The interface is not as intuitive as my younger staff is used to software being these days.

It's more glitchy than I would like it to be, especially the POS and Pick n Pack sections. For example, sometimes clicking a button that should be a working link logs you out of the system entirely.

Reporting has lots of options, but doesn't allow for much drill down. Not many of the reports are live, so you can't click through. Many of the reports were not set up to capture size information, which is crucial for apparel. They are going to add that in for me.

Initial product uploads are a bit confusing, especially for Batch vs FIFO product counting types.

It's not yet linked to my 3pL so I can't comment on that yet.

It might be nice to have some in-between user level options. I have some staff that needs to see in the program, but not actually do anything in it. I have to buy them full users.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Cin7 Omni solve?

My client, for whom I am implementing this software, has never had a proper inventory management system, so it's honestly nice just to have one and that one exists that is affordable for their small but growing business. Many programs I encountered while shopping looked nicer but were no where close to cost-effective.
We are using it to manage inventory for an apparel company that sells its own as well as other brands via web, two brick & mortar retail, and wholesale channels.
Before this program, we didn't have good visuals on what was coming down the pipeline, or a good way to share stock between locations. This program does help us solve those problems.
I'm looking forward to continuing to use the product and see if I grown more into it or more out of it.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

We did some shopping around prior to trialling Cin7, Most other software available wasn't compatible with our business needs and they all had flaws.
Our business has grown while we have been using it.
Cin7 has the capability to suit our needs without having to look elsewhere.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

I suppose the only negative i have about using Cin7 is the B2B system, The core of out business is pre selling. and the Cin7 B2B isn't build for this model.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

-Most applications and programs in Cin7 can be used effectively and efficiency once one understands how to use them.
-The reporting system offers many different options for showing information in many different fields of a company from stock, products, sales representatives, customer sales, supplier sales and many others.
-It is a simple process for admins to add another user to the system
-Customer service on their emails are friendly and extremely helpful with our technical breakdowns are confusion with the program.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

-The program can be extremely slow for a fair amount of the time. There are times when some applications don't open or have a server issues that don't allow the application to open. At times this can take a week for it to work again.
-The advertisements while using Cin7 can slow down Cin7 when it pops up, this slowing down companies productivity from time to time.
-The stocktake process on Cin7 is more complicated that it should be. We had too many issues just to count products.

What do you like about Cin7 Omni?

Great and easy to use stock control and invoicing management system. Our company has been using it since 2015 and the support staff is very helpful and willing to customised the interfaced to suit our need.

Cin7 also offered a huge list of B2B integration: Xero, shopfiy, magneto, etc... The import/export tools are excellent as it allow us to import and export data and eliminated the need to re-enter the data across different programs within our company.

The production job is definitely a highlight as it allow you to build/manufacture/addon product from raw materials. Most importantly, Cin7 allow you to customise accounting ledger code, which allow us to integrated our stock (sales and purchase) seamlessly with the accounting software.

Overall, this is a great ERP cloud system and I definitely recommend to others.

What do you dislike about Cin7 Omni?

monthly fees are a bit high and backing up all data can be a time consuming and lengthy process.....
