What do you like about FieldEdge?

I DO like the dispatching maps feature, it does make for better scheduling if used right. I also do like that it is cloud based and so you can work from anywhere. This means whether you have mobile access or computer access. I also like the mobile app for the infield technicians, it definitely makes access to information quicker without having to be on the phone with the techs all the time.

What do you dislike about FieldEdge?

I really do not like the way it interacts with Quickbooks. It is very unpredictable. There are things about the emailing too that are glitchy. Its not easy to add an email to one customer, because you have to add it to all the sites under that customer in order for it to come up. If I could go back in time, knowing what I know now about everything with this software, I wouldn't have switched to it. Customer service can be good, but we also have gotten some who know less about the software than we do which is never good. but you wouldn't know unless you figured out what you were asking them to help with. It surprises me that so many think it is such a great program, unless they have never used another program. All in all thumbs down. But less than a year in so maybe my review will change with time, as we learn the program better. We understand that when you have thing one way for so long that when you make a change it takes time to fully develop a new way of doing things, a new path that works. We are giving it more time, and have hope. It's just at this time it seems our ability to get things done in a faster way has been reversed.

We use it for dispatching and invoicing for our HVAC company. It helped solve our getting info from tech to office in a quicker way than phone calls. It also is getting us to be paperless which is truly getting with the times.

What do you like about FieldEdge?

Its interface is quite simple and easy to handle which allows me to perform a large number of tasks without any inconvenience, its customer service team is quite quick when answering any questions or problems they receive, the fact that It has a large number of functions that allow me to greatly simplify a large number of processes and tasks such as budget management and supplier contact in a fairly simple and fast way. It has been helping me to manage and plan in a much simpler and more practical way the way in which I handled and organized my construction and decoration projects by allowing me to have all the information in a more organized and accessible way.

What do you dislike about FieldEdge?

My main complaint is that the report generation options do not show the information in a complete and detailed way, which when viewing the information in a summarized way is quite a disappointing task to have a report that helps me take the best possible decision.
