About MuleSoft Anypoint

MuleSoft's Anypoint enables developers to design, build, manage APIs and integrations from a single platform. It also allows them to efficiently build and quickly scale an application network of apps, data, and devices using APIs and integrations. This hybrid integration solution combines iPaaS, ESB, and a unified solution for API management.

Developers can make use of this module in connecting various software platforms through pre-built interfaces. The solution offers REST and SOAP APIs, which are mostly used by organizations that need to complete end-to-end integrations, combining software and data management.

Anypoint is used in combination with other MuleSoft's solutions, like CloudHub iPaaS, Mule ESB, and works as an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). All tools are developer-friendly with pre-built templates and integration components. Main features are rapid development, connectivity to all systems, collaboration and self-service, lean runtime, and visibility and control.

About Ably

Ably is a serverless infrastructure provider for the realtime Internet. We solve the complex problems to do with building and maintaining a global data stream network, allowing developers and businesses to focus instead on building next-generation applications, services, and APIs.

Since 2013 we’ve invested heavily in developing breakthrough technology to take data streaming to the next level — driven by our commitment to the three key pillars of absolute data integrity, mission-critical reliability, and universal interoperability.

Built for developers, trusted by enterprises

Every day we deliver billions of messages to millions of internet-connected devices around the world - from millisecond-accurate market and currency data to instant in-play updates for the sports sector.

Businesses of every size - from startups to global enterprises - use Ably’s infrastructure to power and develop realtime products and services.

Why we built Ably

When we launched Ably in 2016 - after three years of intense research and development - the available platforms didn't meet more than the basic requirement of delivering real time data updates.

We built Ably from the ground-up to create a service that would comfortably encompass not just the demands of the most popular consumer apps, but that would lead the way in enabling the massive growth in instantaneous and high value data exchanges between global businesses.

Who's behind Ably

We believe that we’re building the data streaming network for the future. And we’re delighted that our investors share our vision. Like us, they believe Ably’s technology to deliver a streaming service that — with the launch of our business-to-business API Streamer system in particular — can make a real and lasting impact on the way the world shares its data.

The realtime data economy is here

Whether or not we’re consciously aware of it, most of our personal and professional digital interactions already play out in real time.

But what many don’t see is the hidden exponential growth of machine-to-machine communication and data exchange: IoT devices streaming non-stop information to any device listening, self-driving vehicles communicating as they negotiate our roads, with ever more mobile devices accessing live services and applications.

As more devices join the internet, and businesses scramble to reorganize themselves around a realtime economy, so the need for complex realtime infrastructure is intensified. Organizations need infrastructure to meet not only today’s data-streaming needs but also those for a future where everyday services rely on data constantly in motion.
