I mostly like the easiness of scheduling posts and reports for competitors and different platforms. When scheduling posts, it's super useful being able to change image preview of links too. The option of choosing the best suitable times for posting is also an interesting one. I love the “best post” feature for competitors in reports too so you can see what type of posts resonates with the audience.
Their social listening feature seems to be really great but a bit too pricey, which is a shame, so we haven't been able to use it for our clients. But in overall, there is nothing to dislike.
Scheduling social posts across different platforms, message and mention management, social media calendar and reporting. It's also an useful tool for competitor research and it provides lots of useful insights for your organic social media strategy.
It is not a new tool, but it is an excellent alternative to manage your social profiles. Sprout Social is a tremendous monitoring tool that gives us an overview of all the interactions and conversations that are happening around our brand. It works very well with all social networks. You can designate members of your social media team in your company, (Previous invitation will be able to carry out their task). You can calculate the level of participation of each member by measuring the tasks. This option is quite attractive, you can control the performance of each member and congratulate or give observations about the work. Sprout Social allows us to post messages simultaneously to your connected profiles, grouping the answers in one place and adding them to a calendar, helping your weekly planning.
Doesn't have unlimited historical data. Others software have Listening and influencer identification tools betters.
I wish it could post giphs.
I wish it could post multiple photos on Instagram automatically.
Sometimes posts will fail to upload and there is no explanation why.
I wish it could tag pages in Facebook posts.
I think better options would be available if we were at a higher program tier
If they take into account these recommendations, it could probally be one of the most complete and easy to use softwares in the current market. It's a pity that they do not present these qualities right now, because I love working with them.
With Sprout Social we do not have the need to program the campaigns for social networks in each platform We can manage and control all our campaigns with just using this tool. This tool has become a very useful asset, for the time and effort saving that it gives us in the hour to manage shows social networks. It's able to efficiently organize and schedule all our social media posts on all various platforms.
The absolutely best feature is the calendar that you can use for scheduling social media posts for many days. For example, if you want a tweet to go out at the same time for the next 60 days, you enter the tweet and a calendar pops up where you can click the next 60 days to schedule it.
There are no clumsy spreadsheet uploads and no "duplicate" error messages like other services create when you want to do bulk scheduling.
It's also user-friendly, visually appealing and affordably priced.
Also, unlike other services I've tried, Sprout Social "sent messages" report shows me ALL the messages sent, not just the ones through their service. Other services I've used only shows me what I sent through their service.
I get instant emails when a post fails, which is very helpful.
Their support team is quickly responsive, helpful and polite. I usually get a response within minutes.
They constantly add new features without major changes that can create a learning curve. They are a company that makes changes with their clients in mind and their carefully thought out updates are much appreciated as they add value to the service.
There really isn't a lot to dislike about Sprout Social, it's a fantastic service that's affordably priced, but there are a few small points I'd make.
Getting back to scheduling for the long term - I'd rather be able to click a date on the calendar, hold the shift key, and then click an end date and have all the dates in between selected.
Also, I get "robot check" a lot when i am posting to G+, and I can't add my own picture to G+ posts. Other services do allow this, so I am puzzled as to why Sprout Social does not.
I use Sprout Social to schedule posts about my business and for clients. It's a heavy schedule with tweets going out every several minutes across 10 feeds. The service helps me manage all of this in an easy to use, easy to read, and always "online" interface.
Without Sprout Social, it would have been much more difficult to grow my business as easily as I have on a small budget. it's been invaluable to me, and I am grateful they exist because I was able to save large amounts of time doing scheduling and more on marketing and growth.
