Softbook is an in-built CRM system and messenger for communication to create and launch personalized courses with no limit on the number of students, lessons, and schools.

Softbook is a powerful, multifunctional, convenient, and flexible system for developing, promoting, and selling training courses, as well as launching online schools and businesses. Our platform offers all the tools required for the organization to train employees and analyze their progress.

Initially, we planned to develop an LMS platform for our own educational projects. In March 2020, while creating the system, we realized that online education is the future of professional development. The decision was made to enhance our product, making it available for everyone willing to transform their knowledge and experience into a business.

Every process — from uploading the author’s training material to communicating with students— is designed to be highly convenient for the platform users.

Simplicity, convenience, speed, and automatization — these are the things Softbook offers you.

After using Softbook, I had a wonderful experience. Firstly, I always thought that creating and managing classes would be a lot of effort and that I would never be able to handle the management processes. However, the system makes it very easy to understand how it works, and all you need to do is simply share your knowledge. By the way, the customer support is just excellent!

What do you dislike about Softbook?

We have not found anything negative so far. We aim to have more language translation options available in the system for our employees, which is also a priority for Softbook.

What do you like about Softbook?

Softbook has shown to be incredibly versatile, and I'm genuinely impressed by its capabilities in handling a wide range of needs. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is how it accommodates everything we throw at it. This flexibility makes it significantly easier to experiment with the system, allowing us to learn as much as possible before actually publishing the content.

Our setup is somewhat cooperative in nature, meaning multiple business units within our organization are using the same LMS. Despite the variety and complexity that comes with such a structure, Softbook manages to perform beautifully without a hitch. It has seamlessly supported our diverse needs, contributing greatly to a smooth and productive learning environment for everyone involved.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

The only thing I've struggled with was building our performance tasks. It would be great to create a review process all in-line rather than working on everything separately. Other than that, I've very happy with the tool.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Softbook solve?

Great LMS with a flexible UI that prioritizes the end user. The admin experience is particularly noteworthy—clean, efficient, and superior to other LMSs I've encountered. One of the standout features for me is the Learner Home. Additionally, the Welcome and Custom Pages are well-designed and highly functional. It’s incredibly beneficial to have a dedicated space where end users can easily find and access the training content they need.

As an Admin, I am thoroughly impressed with the variety of features this system offers. There is an abundance of data you can utilize, and the ability to easily automate experiences is a significant advantage. Overall, this LMS provides a comprehensive and user-friendly platform that meets both administrative and learner needs exceptionally well.

From my experience, there was absolutely nothing I disliked about the software. I only wish I had discovered it sooner.

Nothing at all. This system has everything you need built in. There are some areas that I wish were a bit more customizable, however I'm willing to overlook this as the platform is extremally easy to self-manage.

Setting up the platform was a smooth process, and our large staff of over 5,000 members were able to quickly start using it. The branch feature enables us to easily manage user access and visibility. The user-friendly reports have been helpful in tracking progress and performance. I love how easy it is to navigate and use Softbook. If there is something I am struggling with, Softbook support is always quick to respond and provide a solution. Compared to other LMS's, I think Softbook has the best support and is the easiest to navigate.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

I think the reporting feature could be better. When pulling reports for all courses, I think it would be helpful to filter it so you can pull a report of just the mandatory courses and complete/not complete for employees. It would be helpful to just be able to report on course-->name of employee --> completed/not completed (with the date of completion). I think there are cleaner ways to be able to pull reports and gather course data. It would be helpful to be able to pull a cleaner report that is easier to read without having to pull "export all enrollment data" and have a report with a lot of information that isnt useful to us.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Softbook solve?

Improving the reporting capabilities would help me a lot as it is the biggest obstacle I have. If I want to run a report for all required classes, I have to run a full report of all classes and then filter them out. When exporting all enrollment data, it would be helpful to have a "mandatory" filter so that it shows up on the report.

What do you like about Softbook?

Softbook LMS fulfills all of our needs. We provide virtual instructor-led training, live event training, self-paced courses, and certification exams to tens of thousands of learners annually, including employees, customers, college students, and the general public. Absorb is currently suitable for our needs and is a platform that we are unlikely to outgrow as we continue to rapidly scale our learner base and training offerings.

Courses and curricula (learning paths) are not treated as completely separate objects. Actions that can be taken at the course level are usually possible at the curricula level, and vice versa. They can easily appear in reports together, and there is good visibility of the course/curricula relationship within the UI.

Our Softbook CSM and Support team are knowledgeable, professional, and prompt in their replies. Our vendor relationship with Absorb has been wonderful.

Absorb is suitable for all our audiences, including customer onboarding and certification, employee compliance and professional development, and a publicly available program for college students and job seekers.

We have experienced no performance issues, and we have successfully leveraged many of the available integrations. The APIs serve our purposes when we need them.

Softbook has a modern appearance and is user-friendly for both learners and administrators. It offers a wide range of features that are presented in an intuitive manner. Unlike other LMS platforms, Softbook does not have a steep learning curve or limitations.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

There are a couple of places in the UI where a bulk action option would save us time over taking the action individually. I suggest adding gamification and the option to view the presentation without downloading it. This would save students the trouble of downloading the presentation.

What do you like about Softbook?

It is very intuitive and comfortable. I think they put a lot of effort into this platform. They are constantly updating it. Excellent price and very complete. The main screen is configurable. You can add a welcome message. You can upload personalized pictures and logos. It is easy to use when you log in. As an administrator, you can constantly change profiles to make sure how others see the platform. You can also view the platform from any user's profile. There are three roles, but you can create more and customize permissions. As a teacher it is great because you can create courses in which you can include quizzes, videos, texts, assignments, etc. It is also possible to generate discussions through its forum. The platform supports certificates that can be given for an unlimited time with an expiration date. The gamification is easy to use, there are several templates to choose the style of the medal, but you can create your own as well as change the name, but the goals are not changed. Softbook provides many statistics and you can even customize them. As for the migration of information, it is fabulous because we migrated the data from our previous LMS to this one through an Excel file. Some of the functions or explanations are not in Spanish and this could affect some people.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

Although I haven't found anything that I really dislike, I have found a few bugs that are just kind of annoying. For example, when I save a learning module within a course, Google Chrome asks me if I want to save my password...? It's just kind of weird. Not sure why these things happen.

We have people in our company who are over 60 years old and they struggled a lot with our previous LMS. This one is easy for them.

I also love the fact that the home page is customizable, so you can make it look like a real landing page and website.

The difference in unused days is not refundable if you switch to another tariff. I'd like to have a feature that let's the clients pay before registering for the site or if they've already paid using another form I'd love a link that takes the clients directly to the learning they paid for.

As a coach, I did a lot of one-on-one coaching and learning for my clients. Softbook allows me to coach one to many with video and interactive learning. The only issue we encountered was that some learners were able to create profiles and enroll in courses without admin assistance when we specifically set those processes to require admin intervention. I think the problem was that they were using single sign-on or something like that. Another would be making assignments work like quizzes where the student has to repeat the assignment if he gets a bad grade. But there was a workaround for this when I contacted tech support.

I have been considering adding a social community to my website for years, and after seeing Softbook in action, I finally took the plunge. Until now, my only solution was to create a BuddyPress website. However, this option is difficult to execute and requires a lot of coding to blend with my theme. On the other hand, Softbook is already completed and functioning efficiently. I appreciate the notifications, which allow for communication with customers in a novel way aside from emails. Additionally, I find the calendar/zoom integration to be appealing. I now schedule all my meetings through Softbook instead of Zoom.

"Softbook simplifies assessment and reporting"


What do you like about Softbook?

First of all, I would like to point out a very strong point of Softbook - an excellent CRM system that allows us to properly organize the entire flow of data and interactions with students and clients, and we have a lot of them. There hasn't been any delay all this time with such a large volume. And we can effectively monitor the progress of the students, their requests and needs.
And also, one of the key benefits is the multi-purpose integrations, including an important (and I would say the most important!!!) connection with the Zoom platform. It has simplified our communication sooooo much, as we do not have to jump from 1000 tabs, not exchange information in any way, but conduct excellent virtual meetings and webinars directly in the Softbook.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

I am fully satisfied with the softbook. The only disadvantage of this lmski is the lack of a mobile app.

What do you like about Softbook?

One of the most valuable features of Softbook is its accessibility and efficient support at any time of the day or night. We can always count on help and answers to all our queries, even at the most inconvenient times.
It is also important to note that Softbook systematically receives significant updates that expand our capabilities and functionality. This allows our company to really be one step ahead and use new technologies in education. At least the students are satisfied. And since we have our own courses in accounting and finance, numbers are very important to us. That's why we need analytics. Softbook provides powerful analytical tools that help us analyze student progress and interaction. That is, we can see trends and make informed management decisions to improve our learning process. So I can sincerely recommend it, and I know for sure that I will not choose another system.

This product is a leader in customer training and I have used it for two separate companies. Softbook's services, from sales to implementation, are of the highest level.

What do you like about Softbook?

In my view, you first need to understand what processes and features your school needs, and then choose a tool that meets those needs.
However, there is a high probability of making the wrong choice and losing time and money, but this is not the case with Softbook. We have been looking for a platform that fits our needs perfectly and we have found it. Our whole team is happy with the result and the experience of working with Softbook.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

We read that it wasn't comfortable to navigate, but it wasn't. So far, we haven't found it to hurt or hurt us.

What do you like about Softbook?

Quite a lot of features. Easy to download lessons, easy to check homework, and easy to accept payments. Great interface. Responsive and super fast helpers. I really like the flexibility. Both internally and externally there are many ways to speed up our training.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

There are always problems when moving to a new platform. Fortunately, the Softbook team has a great support team. They were there to guide us.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Softbook solve?

The CRM system with a messenger is exactly what we needed! Impressed by its power and multifunctionality. Simultaneously, we tackle numerous tasks: tracking clients, communicating through a user-friendly messenger, and also crafting an incredibly flexible system tailored to our needs.

What do you like about Softbook?

I really liked the fact that I was able to create a course without having a lot of experience in using an LMS platform. When I was researching companies, the process was very difficult and was always a deterrent! I knew this was the right platform for me to develop my courses when I came across Softbook... It gave me the time I needed to develop my courses with cost effective packages and a free membership to start with.

What do you dislike about Softbook?

Certain features of the platform could be made simpler - it is not so easy to understand how to implement and how to manage the users.

What have you been using it for and what problems did Softbook solve?

Softbook has helped me increase conversions and establish trust with my clients by displaying my course sales pop-ups. It is easy to use, customizable and comes with great customer support. The support team has been exceptionally helpful and responsive throughout my experience.
