Smith.Ai has been a breeze to work with from the onboarding process through the sometimes weekly account touches from their customer service team. Making updates to our script and call handling instructions is simple and they are happy to make adjustments to help us fine tune the process for handling prospect calls. The software is easy to use and enables us to listen to call recordings, read call transcripts, block unwanted callers or forward current clients directly to the office, all from the dashboard. Smith.Ai's customer service is prompt in their responses to any issues that come up and are fair with their call credits when needed. All of their receptionists are either native English speakers or are fluent in English as their second language and we have never had a communication issue with our callers not being able to understand the receptionist or questioning if they are based in the US. We have been utilizing their services for 1.5 years after trying 4 other answering services and are very satisfied with the company thus far. We prefer their method of charging per call rather than charging per minute.
The main flaw with the software is that when you are on the dashboard and click into a lead to view the call details, whenever you back out of the lead it takes you all the way to the dashboard landing page and therefore the most recent call list. It is not a big deal but rather an annoyance as sometimes I am auditing calls that are several pages into the history list and it requires a few extra clicks to navigate back to the section of calls. It did not used to do this so hopefully they will update their system soon and fix this.
We are a wealth management firm who needed a service to field calls for us on the weekends when we run a TV and Radio show where prospects are encouraged to call in to schedule an appointment. Smith.Ai even has receptionists staffed to take calls that come in between 11:30pm and 12:00am. Having receptionists available at all times of the day has allowed us to run more shows and at odd times of the day without fear of missing a prospect call. One feature we love is that they will return a call to someone if the call is dropped or if they for some reason are not answered the first time and have to leave a voicemail, the receptionists are quick to call them back. We have about a 55%-60% booking ratio and anyone they cannot set an appointment for, they provide detailed notes as to why they were not able to schedule the prospect. This service allows us to qualify prospects more efficiently as we have them ask certain questions that our staff can use to further qualify them on Monday mornings when we call everyone back ourselves. One of the best features of Smith.Ai software is their integration with our CRM, Wealthbox. They are able to send a one way push of information which will add the caller as a contact, publish the call notes that are duplicated on the dashboard, and also add their appointment to our calendar. This has been a big time saver for the admin staff who used to manually input all of that.
II love the fact they are so professional and accurate that our customers often don’t realize they are talking to the answering service and not directly to us. They are so accurate and pleasant. This is a very responsive company

Smith.ai has filled a huge gap in our business. As a service-based company, we need consistent communication that our clients can depend on. Smith.ai allows us to create this continuity 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our clients feel heart and supported. The messages we get relayed from Smith.ai are clear and helpful. We have really gained an added layer of protection or insulation as the management team. We no longer have to deal with the constant barrage of interruptions. Also we get a daily summary of all messages relayed so we have a double check that all messages were appropriately dealt with.

FAST - Our initial discovery call was a Wednesday at 5pm and we were live by Friday morning at 10am. They moved at our speed, made sure all our t's were cross and i's were dotted. Most companies take weeks of tedious, slow-moving onboarding, but Smith.ai was efficient and got it done quickly.
AFFORDABLE - What sold our company was the transparent pricing. No long discovery calls, with custom quotes and complicated formulas. We fit into one bucket, and when we outgrow that one, we are able to move into another that better fits.
THOROUGH - The onboarding process was so clear and helpful. They explained what they do, things I didn't know they were able to do for us. They took time get to know us as a client, what our voice and communication style is. They integrated well with our existing technologies and processes. It was an extremely smooth transition.

The cost is very affordable. Most of the time my information is what I need to return the calls. Occasionally, there is a delay between getting the phone call and the email or text with information that I need such as the callers phone number or email. I have emailed customer service 2 times regarding this and they responded promptly. They are experiencing growing pains. But they strive to provide the best service for a VA and 99% of the time they do an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone and I have used several VA receptionists - they are the best..
Sometimes the VA doesn't obtain all the information that I need (email or specific reason for call) but usually these are new people still in training. I reach out to customer service and they are very responsive to my concerns.

Smith.ai does a great job answering calls for my office and scheduling appointments for consultations for me. Having the live person answering the phone has made a big difference in getting folks to schedule that initial call to speak with me rather than moving on to the next office if voicemail picks up. They also are able to do callbacks for me if necessary. They make it very simple. An email requesting the callback is all it takes. You get a wonderful summary of the initial call or callback via email as well. I also like the ability to switch from live answering to voicemail by text rather than having to log into an app. They have been a great timesaver for me.
I can't think of anything I don't like. I had some hiccups getting my script in good form but they were so prompt in responding to my requests that I can only say good things about the way in which adjustments were held.
The biggest problem I have had solved using Smith.ai is giving the prospective new clients a live voice on the other end and many times that is sufficient to get an appointment scheduled.

I like how quick their support team is in responsiveness and making adjustments to "scripts." I love how they the agents are competent and make executive decisions instead of disconnecting callers.
Our company originally did a trial period but were not outlined clearly enough that its per number of calls or a week whichever comes first, so we were shocked to inform the whole team of the change to virtual reception to have it shut off within a day due to call volume. It definitely was not enough time to evaluate so we actually went with a cheaper company but cancelled them within two days due to how much worse the agents were than Smith.Ai.

I was not certain this service would provide any return on investment, particularly with the chat service.
It was my mistake. Within the first week I noticed an uptick in leads from the chat service. Regarding the telephone service. No problems. The service helps to provide a professional decorum.
I can't really think of anything I dislike. Even from an improvement perspective, Ai is fast to listen to customer feedback and take immediate action.
