Guided setup quick to use, program easily covers the majority of day-to-day purchasing and warehousing activities, ranging from order creation, and issuance, to follow-up, receipt and general inventory summaries. PRECORO offers plenty of additional features, which seem to be handy, but were not utilized or tested in depth, due to the nature of project requirements and company directives.
Warehousing and Inventory features require improvement , such as sublevels to particular physical storage location, and virtual issue voucher, to keep up to date of inventories automatically, without having to manually alter the individual stock levels retrospectively.
Precoro has significantly increased our working productivity and is the most user-friendly software we have ever used. The cost does not come with a heavy price, and the Developer is willing further to provide an attractive business package to our Company.
Unfortunately so far as an active user, we did not really have any issues with Precoro.
Precoro significantly increases work productivity and reduces reliance on hardcopy workpaper. The whole procurement process is quickly approved paperless within a few clicks.
Quickbooks integration. This makes keeping the books clean a little easier. The customer service is usually fairly timely and that is appreciated. For the most part the program is fairly organized and helps keep your order in one place. Pretty good continuity through the entire procurement process.
There are several issues that make it difficult to you. You can not edit an RFP in any way after you have created it. You need to send a new one to make any change. It is difficult to use on the supplier side and I have encountered a lot of resistance from suppliers that would rather send me a quote through my email. This isn't the end of the world but there is no where in Precoro to upload a quote send through email so that they are stored there. You can't enter any information given from your supplier. They either have to enter it all or it doesn't show up and it has to be stored elsewhere until you are ready to issue a PO. If there was some kind of option for suppliers to download a spreadsheet, fill it out and upload it then they could at least use copy and paste. My suppliers complain that they have to do it twice if they use Precoro.
If you have multiple suppliers that compete for long lists of material, there is no way to store a history in your catalogue of prices offered by more than one supplier. You can only have one supplier's info entered. There are several usability issues that may seem like a small deal but are the difference between having flow and having to stop and click things constantly which make it painful. Overall the program is great but there are a few things that make it fairly frustrating.
Precoro helped get all of our orders in one place and keep them organized. We use it for all orders on charge accounts. We largely use it to get competitive pricing from suppliers on lists of construction materials, to order, and to receive the items after. Precoro has a great receiving function which allows you to easily document which items from an order have been received and what is not in your possession yet.
-Easy to learn and use
-Very good customer service (if you have any questions of any nature, you just press a button and within a minute someone guides you through the problem)
-The team actually takes feedback into account and implements it, improving the product accordingly
-It covers most of a procurements process imaginable needs.
-It automates a lot of the said processes.
Some things could be improved:
-Currently you cant modify item rows by bulk in a Purchase order (can be troublesome if you run a factory)
-Currently you can only introduce invoice prices line by line if you want to connect them to the purchase order and check whether they re the same with the ones in the catalogue (but I understood from the team they are working on a system to introduce invoices automatically)
-The management system for undelivered items is a bit underdeveloped.
We are managing our factory’s entire procurement process through Precoro. Using it, we monitor every single item that goes through the factory, from bolts to profiles/reinforcement, etc.
It's integrated with our accounting system which helps us avoid duplicate work and reduces workload
There is no average inventory cost computation, which is important to calculate the inventory accurately.
This software is so easy to use and the support is superb. What do I like?
1) Customizable. Being able to add fields to documents and customize reports is perfect for our needs and a serious time saver.
2) Support - Fast, friendly and open to new ideas.
3) User Friendly - Easy to implement. Easy to to navigate.
4) Approval system - Can see the purchasing process from start to finish
5) Emailing POs directly to vendors
7) Value - This is a great price for the software. And I didn't have to pay any type of start up fee.
8) Precoro offers a monthly update report with information on the company, new features and what they are currently working on. This is so great!
I would like is the ability to edit the purchase order supplier and location information after it is confirmed. I have made a few typos and find that I have to cancel the PO and start again.
Currently I use Precoro for purchasing, receiving and item transaction info. We did not have a purchasing software here when I started and after researching several other softwares, Precoro offers us everything we need. The ability to pull an item transaction report is huge. I need to be able to look at history and trends for our items to help make the best inventory decisions. I really could not find this ability in other softwares unless it was a full blown ERP system and we do not need that here.
This has cut my purchasing time in half. I also have all the information in one area. I can't say enough how much I truly enjoy this software!

Some of the features were not flexible enough and needed some improvements. It would be good to have more flexibility through the approval cycle.
It has been challenging to manage employee requests and compare them with budgets. Many of them were lost or made post factum. As a result, we have spent more than necessary, and the whole procurement process took a long time. Now we have all the steps from the request to the receipt in one system. In addition, an inventory section, vendor catalog, and reports.
We'll never go back to Excel spreadsheets again. One solution meets all our needs and even more. Visible approval workflow, a budget section for each department, custom reporting fields, and an item catalog make purchasing very easily manageable.
Nothing, everything that becomes an issue, is quickly taken care of by their customer success team.
Excellent web-based solution for issuing PO in companies looking to simplify & streamline procurements process that include issuing PO, approving, tracking and receiving without management overhead. For a small company without dedicated operation function, Precoro is very easy to use, very easy to train on and proved to be very effective is optimizing our procurement process.
There is nothing I dislike about Precoro. As with any software solution, there are features that are unique to our needs that are currently not available. yet, Precoro team is very available and helpful in suggesting workarounds with the existing system that are usually good enough.
We have been using it to allow every person in our organization to issue PO for products that need for our development activities. The PO is then approval by dedicated functions and sent to the supplier.
Before using Precoro, our PO issuing was manual using a custom template we built, but depended on a single person to issue the PO and required an email approval process that was annoying and cumbersome.

It's easy to receive an invoice and compare it to the PO, and if everything's okay, the finance director confirms it. We cut our time to process payments by 70 percent and don't need a lot of time processing. Response from CSM Mary has been very personable and quick. That's one of their strongest sides. Precoro meets all our requirements, so we don't have any problems with using it.
I can't edit the due date after the RFP is sent out. That's 1 con, which I can single out.

There is not an extra column in the Report section, which contains comments. Everything else is okay.

We decided to find a tool for streamlining the process and tracking, analyzing every purchase. Precoro helped us to solve many problems. Among them: bad tracking suppliers’ performance, lack of spend reports, and too much time needed for creating PRs.
1) Oceanex Inc got rid of old Excel procurement processes and now we can organize all purchases online.
2) The user interface is very good, everyone who works with it happy with the ease of use.
3) Now we have more complete picture of our spendings thanks to Report feature!
They haven't connection with DATEV automatically. But everything works really well.
I love automatic supplier sending, which saves time. I like that the PO goes directly to the supplier upon approval without any troubles. Moreover, updates are frequent and they add really good functionalities. Precoro is the best tool for the features we need.
I do not think I have something against it. The software works really well, without bugs and with all functions we need.
It`s nice to create PR from catalogs in a few minutes and sent it to the person who approves. And we like that you can confidently approve because know if there is avaialble budget for this purchase. Their CSM Maria helped us with each step of implementation, we love their support.

Precoro helped Skyvia scale the business and automate AP and procurement processes. Now, approvals take hours instead of days, and we always have visibility into the status of a transaction. Managing thousands of items in Precoro's catalog, unlimited custom fields for POs - very great features. Recommend buying it if you're tired of the paper, Excel, email routine!

Precoro didn't have a direct connection with Acumatica so we needed to set it up through their API. But it's not a big problem for us.

Precoro helped us with strengthening our controls. Now we can manage spendings more effectively. Our vendors receive automatically generated PDF files, it is very convenient. Precoro developed a good mobile version with great UI, but it'll be great to have an app.
