It's a pretty simple ATS to learn and install. They provide outstanding written and video documentation. My favorite feature is the AI recommendation and automatic extraction of candidate social media and resume parsing because it reduces the time spent finding and screening candidates significantly.
The email inbox feature on Manatal is not available during the 14-day free trial.
Since the free trial began, I've had a fantastic experience. We are now 6 months in! It was a winner all around because it was jam-packed with features, brilliant performance, and have a fair price point that is great value for money.
We have been using the software for our agency and it's really been a breeze even though I am not very tech savyy.
- You can connect your Gmail to easily interact with candidates and other contacts in the platform.
- Live chat in which you usually get a response within minutes.
- The app is handy when on the move to review new applicants for example.
A setting to adjust font size on the mobile app would be very useful since the icons can be a bit small.
As a recruiter, Manatal makes a lot of complicated tasks easier. I love the Chrome extension and can automatically post my jobs on a number of job boards like Facebook or Google. It even has a career page builder which I used to build our main website. All of the incoming applications from these arrive directly in the corresponding job, so I don't need to go through different websites to track and manage each candidate. Also big thanks to Rodrigo and their support team for the training they provided.
Little UI things like the tutorial bar could be improved as it can get in the way. You can close it, but I think it could be better placed elsewhere.
I highly recommend Manatal. If you're a recruiter who manages a number of candidates, this is the solution for you. Very easy to use and gets the job done.
We switched from Excel as a candidate database and Pipedrive as a CRM. Changing was easy, there's no installation at all. We imported all our candidates, jobs, clients and contacts via CSV file. Once that was done, we were good to go. Support and training was also provided for free during the transition, which was not the case for two other solutions we tested. This includes a CRM which allowed us to kill two birds with one stone!
The possibility to add more media like videos to the job descriptions or add content in different languages in our career portal would add a lot of value for us. Other than that the software does what it does well.
Very easy to use, even for most of us whom never had used an ATS in the past. It makes collecting candidates from all the different job boards, social media, etc super convenient. We could not go back to Excel and Pipedrive.
Super user friendly, getting everyone onboard and up to speed took a day. The support team was very responsive if we had any questions. This allowed us to focus on recruitment from the start and not on learning a new software. There are a lot of tools that improve efficiency like the mass resume import and parsing, social media enrichment, a custom resume generator, integration with Gmail/Calendar to name a few.
Nothing negative. I would have loved to see SMS communications included but this is not a common feature anyway in recruiting software, especially in this price range.
I've been using the platform for a month now. Learning the software was really easy, and for any question I had the support team was really responsive. Lots of things are customizable and there is a tool for everything in the recruitment process. Finally value for money seems to be the best compared to other platforms we've looked into.
As mentioned previously, there are many customization options, which can feel a little overwhelming and complex when you first try to play with the settings. Thankfully the support team is there and usually answers within minutes.
I found it very helpful that the

Being a fast-growing company, we are constantly on the lookout for outstanding candidates. Manatal made it possible to easily source talents from different channels like job boards, career page or Linkedin. It also centralizes all applications for us. It's very convenient because we don't have to go through different job boards one at a time. An added benefit is that the software is very easy to use.
A select all button would be great on certain pages to export data from the account more efficiently. Some options to customize the interface would also be a great addition.
Very easy to track/manage candidates and openings. It also includes CRM tools so it's similarly easy to manage prospects and clients. The collaboration tools are also super useful as I can invite my clients for free to collaborate on their openings directly in the platform, cutting the need for sending some emails and centralizing everything about these openings in one place.
There's only some aspects of the UI I'd like to tweak since I use some tools more than others and
that would cut clicks when moving from a page to another in some instances.
I love that you can invite an unlimited number of hiring managers and guests for free, and that they can simultaneously track candidates, leave notes and feedback. While I don't use it much myself, my team loves the AI recommendations, as it allows them to pinpoint the best candidates for a given job in our database.
It can happen sometime on mobile that the inbox is a bit slow to refresh. That is a minor issue for me since I am working from my office most of the time. Otherwise the platform works as intended

for over 4 months now, it's very easy to use so getting everyone onboard was super smooth. There
is no installation at all, I only had
to customize the platform to our needs with the help of their support team. We post all our jobs and deal with a lot of candidates so the integration with Facebook Jobs and the resume parser are perfect for us. I love the social media scraper as it allows us to
identify potential issues before
they arise.
The two things I'd like to see is a wider selection of email templates
from the start so we don't have to draft them ourselves and a select all button on some pages to make selection of candidates, jobs, etc easier.
It is exactly what most companies need for recruitment. Very easy to set up, customize and use. It can be integrated with Gmail and Outlook emails so all conversations with candidates are saved in the system for further reference. Great to organize, screen and store large quantities of job applications and CVs.

My only grudge is that they do not
integrate with some of the more
local job boards allowing automatic job posting, which would save us time. I will revisit
this review once this has been
fixed but for now it's a four star.

It's been 8 months since I started using the platform and have not had any problems so far.
Using Excel was becoming messy. I would have a hard time finding past candidates, and tracking all the candidates/jobs I was working on was becoming too complicated.
