Having switched to a new software that automatically finds job changes and new contact details including mobile phone numbers and experienced their customer service, I can safely say that Hunter has an amazing customer service, the advisors are always polite, knowledgeable and quick to respond, which is very important when you are struggling with something on the platform. Hunter is more accurate at finding email addresses and can separate between catch-all status clearly. I still use it from time to time, to verify some emails my other platform can't find. Email automation is great, able to send a lot more a day than what I currently use.
It would be great if the platform had CRM-like features and could act as one. Finding job changes automatically and contact details if they have changed would be some great features to consider adding. If this was to happen, I would leave my other software and come back as a paying customer and stick with hunter. Email address "health" status could be added as a feature too for the account user, i.e. me, so not sending too many emails, have good deliverability score.

I like a lot the guidance on confidence level for the email results. And the options of email
search by Person vs. search by Company. Understanding what I am obtaining is critical to continuing to use it.

I do not know if it is about the Hunter, but this is what I miss about the service: Only occasionally I can find a precise email address to a person in Domain Search. Sometimes email status in verification is blocked.

We are a start-up, so the free version makes the most sense for my use currently, but even then it is extremely helpful to find and authenticate small batches of e-mails.
Nothing that I can think of - especially since I am only using it in the free capacity at this time.
I have been using it for cold outreach, and it helps me verify e-mails (to prevent pushing into spam), and find otherwise undiscoverable e-mails.

What I love about hunter.io is its ease of use! They have a very simple interface. The software's navigation is very straightforward, so the user will never be confused. They have a completely free plan to verify and extract unique email addresses for marketers, freelancers, and agencies!

I research companies that could be potential customers, then when I want to send them an introduction email as to who we are and what we have to offer etc. Hunter comes in and saves me the time and effort of trying to find out what the companies emails format is base off of their domain which I look up on hunter. It's an easy first step to finding email addresses that you don't know, and is a bit better than trying to Google Search each name separately
It is not always accurate, and the free trial does not last long
I think this is not the most reliable way possible to get new cold leads
