What do you like about BuildOps?

You definitely get the value with this platform - nice offerings at the right price. Customer care did a great job at bringing us up to speed. Really like mobile capabilities for our technicians in the field.

What do you dislike about BuildOps?

Could be a bit cheaper for a small companies in the field. Otherwise excellent MEP functionality.

What have you been using it for and what problems did BuildOps solve?

Overall has a good balance of niche features that are relevant for HVAC of field service management. Scheduling, time tracking, quoting and invoicing, agreement management, OCR, - at a reasonable price.

Form admin standpoint there are a lot of features around user session control, user activity, access rights, etc. Solid set of settings for user monitoring and administration within the platform. Otherwise great lineup of features for HVAC and MEP type businesses.

Could use more API level integrations on the systems side of the business (maybe something to consider for future development)

We had one of those big FSM platforms before (only videos on the website and PDFs for training) - replaced it for Buildops. Buildops support had personalized training sessions for us, with real people that actually know a thing or two about the industry!

Only good things to say about these guys --> live training, industry savvy specialists, it doesn't get better than this

Our previous software was a "dinosaur" - couldn't get much done, no field access, really hard to sync. We are happy that Buildops found us and offered their technology.

After using an on-premise software Buildops is an amazing technology. Cloud is the way to go. Only good things to say about these guys.

cloud-based makes all of the difference for us - the platform is just available to us, no matter where we are or how we are trying to access it. Fast and very reliable access - no matter my location.

expand mobile capabilities even more - our team loves it ( we definitely want to see even more features around the mobile app and it's integrations)

If you are in the HVAC business and have more than a dozen employees in the field - start looking at BuildOps. We have improved how we manage our jobs and increased our profitability by leveraging BuildOps know-how and reporting technology.

What do you dislike about BuildOps?

Learning curve, first couple of months can be painful if you are switching from another tool like we did. Hard to let go of doing things the good old way. We had to invest a bit of time into training before making a complete jump into BuildOps platform.

Great services and support team - very helpful and knowledgeable, I doubt that we would've received that much help from some of the other bigger companies in the field.

What do you like about BuildOps?

Like the new customer portal and project management modules in the platform. Navigation in the platform is smooth and easy - on both desktop and mobile versions of the platform. I end up being in reports and dashboards for most of my day and I would say reporting module in BuildOps is almost a data mining/business intelligence level tool alone - if you know how to use it.

What do you dislike about BuildOps?

I guess we would want even more integrations in the future - our QuickBooks is connected not to the platform and works well. But, we can benefit from more integration options in the future.

What have you been using it for and what problems did BuildOps solve?

We were leveraging a really old software system before BuildOps and it just lived its better days and needed to be replaced. Invoicing, quoting, customer management, support of people in the field, overall tracking - everything is better. We have gone "many levels up" because of BuildOps and their technology.

What do you like about BuildOps?

Customer support is quick to respond and help - they are very knowledgeable and very thorough. There is a very impressive amount of information available to you once the platform is live and ready: quotes, orders, jobs, customer info, employee info, assets, etc. History and past parts and assets used are easy to see and track.

What do you dislike about BuildOps?

There is a bit of a learning curve - prepare to invest the first few days to a couple of weeks to learn, but as I mentioned their customer care team is great - you'll have a lot of help.

What have you been using it for and what problems did BuildOps solve?

BuildOps enables our guys to invoice in the field and in real-time and streamlines our billing process. Mobile is the way to go - it makes jobs easier for our technicians. We can do so much now - keep track of all quotes, customer agreements, pieces and parts replaced, - we can do our work faster and more accurately these days.

Really like the ease of use of the platform and how it is organized. They are continuously improving their platform and releasing a multitude of great features.

Keep growing and expanding the features around the customer portal - we really like this functionality and want to see it grow.

After we implemented BuildOps we are more consistent, more efficient, and more successful in generating new business. BuildOps played a very significant role in helping us automate our business - a multitude of our daily tasks are either fully automated or require very little time investment.

I really like their customer success team - implementation and learning the platform was a success because of them. Great dispatch and scheduling features, good mobile app, and very well done reporting.
