For our company, Buffer offers two achievements: ongoing interaction and communication strategies. What I like most about this software is that I can link various social networks and schedule content for different hours. I can schedule a tweet and a Facebook post to be sent at the same time, but the information is tailored to the social network. It's like we have our own community manager. The most important thing is to keep a pre-calendar and the rest is to schedule. It is an easy-to-use tool and only requires concentration to avoid errors.
I really feel very comfortable using Buffer as the first choice for social media programming. We have detected that some tweets are not posted at the appointed time of the previous calendar, but I think it is more a usage error than a program issue.
Buffer is easy to use, has great UI and has a great entry-level pricing option. It offers nonprofits a 50% discount and so it is the cheapest of its competitors. What I really love is the new feature to shedule the first comment on Instagram
Once you move up plans it gets very expensive and I then find it better to go with a cheaper competitor. I do prefer the reporting on Agora pulse.
To easily shedule content on various social media platforms as well as analyse how this content has been doing
Buffer is a really useful social media scheduling tool and a few years ago when I started using social media it was the go-to for newbies. I stopped using in 2017 and came back earlier this year because it's the only scheduler that allows me to auto-post videos to Instagram. I have recommended it to some of my learners who only want a video scheduler. The free plan offers enough to get started with and I love that you can add up to 3 profiles for networks such as Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram. Whether you're mainly on your mobile, tablet or laptop it functions in almost the exact same way.
My dislike is main in related to the free plan as it doesn't allow you to fully scroll down to see all your scheduled post for the Instagram posts due to the length it may take up. I also wish it had the option to add your Pinterest account, that way I wouldn't have to use so many scheduling tools to manage my business. I learnt recently if you have VPN on your mobile device your app will not work, that was very frustrating for us.
We have been using it mainly to schedule video only content for Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter. The other schedulers didn't allow for video auto-posting it's a godsend for us as it truly saves us time and gives us the peace of mind that all our video content will post on time.
For businesses who need to schedule varios posts at a time and want to work with more than three social accounts. With Premium business plans also let you add team members to a single Buffer account so that you can collaborate on your social posts.
You can download official Buffer web browser extensions for Chrome or Firefox to add posts to your queue directly from a web page.
Buffer has dedicated mobile apps so you can easily add content from a mobile web browser.
Buffer has been integrated with several popular apps and services so that you can add posts from those apps.
You can customize your schedule so the posts are published any day and any time you want.
It have a recurrent "unknown error" issues where posts fail that happen. That happened to my several times on instagram.
The link shortening will override your text even if you selected "unshortened", The tagging is almost impossible.
The scheduler can be a little flaky, and in my case used to lose a post mid-creation.
There are picture size maximums
I can only post on Instagram once a day
The free version does limit the number of accounts you can connect, if you're hoping to use this for all of your social accounts you'll have to pay.
Buffer have some bugs on Twitters' profile.
I used it to make several publications on different platforms.
I recommend it for those who depend on marketing in social networks, who have the need to make frequent publications through various platforms, in addition to the need to have many publications instead of actions, this requires time and effort.
In my opinion Buffer offers its best compromise between functionality and ease of use.
They have some details that if they improve they will probably be one of the best tools in its market
What I like the most is the ease that I have of doing great functions with such simple steps. I can program the publications in the different social networks that I use, I can also publish content from the page where I am, all with the Buffer facility. It is affordable and has a high accessibility range. It is so simple and quick to use it. Its API is very good, intuitive and easy to use, I have all the tools I need within reach.
Everything is fine with Buffer but I present small inconveniences with the general functions with a focus on each social network, which each presents different difficulties. For example Twitter can mark the programming of all my tweets as spam, but it is not, I only do it for the different accounts that I manage. As this also happen limitations with Facebook and Instagram that can make the work more tedious.
It is a really useful tool, which saves a lot of time invested and with this it decreases the large amount of work involved in marketing management in different social networks. Now one or two people can handle it quickly and easily.
Keeps the work in order and benefits us significantly in the communication between the team and our customers.
I'm not sure how valuable Buffer is for personal use, but as a marketer at a company that runs a lot of social media channels, I can tell you it is an indispensable tool for us.
You get to schedule your posts to get the optimum times for your audience and Buffer's browser extension saves a lot of time, as you can share content from any page and on the go.
We also found the 'suggested posts' very useful. Buffer has an algorithm that searches trending posts and filters the ones that seem to be relevant to you, so that you don't have to do the work of finding the articles.
