My business has been using ASTPP 3.x for about 6 years now and have built a strong profitable voice business on the platform. Once Version 4 was released be created a new server and tested right away. The system had a lot of improvements and we have been running both versions now since. V4 provides reliable performance and continue to use the platform. We will now look forward to seeing the finer improvements V5 brings to the table.
Nothing really. There are some things I'd like to change or see added the following
SIP registration Devices at the reseller level so Resellers can do their own Level one tech support, and ability to customise the UI more.
Haven't had an issue for them to solve yet.
My business has been using ASTPP 3.x for many years now and have built a strong profitable voice business on the platform. Once we got familiar with the product and saw how easy it is to customize and build onto the product, we were sold on its solid performance and continue to use the platform to this day. We are currently reviewing the new versions, 4 and now 5 and look forward to the great features and potential in the new product.
There seem to be features that where in 3.6 but have been removed from 4 and 5 community edition unless you purchase the enterprise system.
Some bugs are in version 4 and 5 that I had to manual fix from version 3.6 but cannot make my own changes to code in enterprise because the entire system is closed source.
I feel the code that is based on community edition should not be closed source and allow the community / customers to contribute to the further development of a great product.
I really like about ASTPP is easy to use, their fast implementation, their excellent technical support and the human treat. The complete team makes you feel as a part of all.
