"Great ITSM solution for my company needs - easy to use and Microsoft focus"


What do you like about ALVAO IT Service Management?

I really like that the service desk and asset management cooperating together. These two products we can use as one tool for the entire company...not only IT but also for skippers, customer services, IT support, technicians, etc.

I like:

-incident, change, and request management with AI capabilities
-we can prioritize issues that are urgent with ticket prioritization and notifications, and we set up automated workflows and automated ticket routing so we know who needs to solve certains issues
-we can use it for our customer service too, which is a great as we have connected tickets to customer issues etc.
-we can easily track all IT assets—hardware and software—with an overview of boats, spare parts, licenses, contracts, people, and locations, saving us tons of money
-we use AI for IT support to detect incidents and resolve issues faster
- deep connection with Microsoft family and with Microsoft products in general like Outlook, AAD, etc.
-mobile access - great for our field technicians and skippers who are out at sea
-the best thing is when we have an issue with a boat, we raise a ticket within the service desk and can attach the specific asset=boat to the ticket, along with its entire history and location within asset management. This saves us a lot of time searching.
-great alvao customer support and implementation team - it was quickly deployed and ready to use right away

What do you dislike about ALVAO IT Service Management?

- weak knowledge base
- need for more advanced search field
- more regular product upgrades/new product versions, not only once year (I would appreaciate it more often)

What have you been using it for and what problems did ALVAO IT Service Management solve?

Alvao has saved us a lot of time, effort and money that would have been drown without it.

We have now the exact overview of all assets - hardware, software, people, location, licences, contracts etc.
People in the company are not overworked in chaos and IT support has their priorities set. Our customers are happier as their problems are resolved faster. Skippers and technicians appreciate the clear processes and they don't need to wait a long time.

We used excel sheets for tracking assets and mailbox for our requests and Alvao was the best decision we did for our daily operations not only in IT.

What do you like about ALVAO IT Service Management?

Very reliable and fast cloud-based app for IT support and operations. The using is very intuitive and easy compare to other enterprise platforms I have used. Also, I found setting advanced workflow automation quite easy. The integration to Microsoft apps works pretty well. The guys from support are awesome, and always very helpful.

What do you dislike about ALVAO IT Service Management?

I would like to have more communication channels (f.e. Slack, social media.. )

What have you been using it for and what problems did ALVAO IT Service Management solve?

This tool served as our central ITSM/ITOM platform, crucial for managing our IT Operations. Furthermore, we have extended its usage to encompass our Facilities and HR teams, utilizing it as their primary tool for issue tracking and case management
