When starting a new job, it was useful to be able to see who belonged to various teams. The out of office feature is nice to have as well, especially with Slack integration.
I haven't encountered any issues yet. The use case is somewhat limited but it does it well. An option to make some information private would be nice. It's also not clear to me how it's determined which employees show up in the live org chart view and which don't, but this may just be the way the company chose to set it up.
I use it sometimes at work to see how teams are organized and what different people's roles are. We also have an "out of office" slack channel that automatically pulls statuses from Pingboard so it's easy to see who is working remotely or on vacation.
I like how easy it is to find people in the organization, without pingboard I need to ask who reports to who and then how to get in touch with them.
Pingboard has done everything I've tried to do in it regarding the organization org charts and linkage to our organization
It's easy to organize and use. It's always reliable. I can do with it what I need to do.
Can't think of anything I really dislike. It does what I expect it to do and need it to do.
It helps me as Office Coordinator stay up to date with employee info like names, birthdays, etc.
