Share contacts and address books with your team in Google Workspace, previously known as G Suite, Gmail, or your mobile Contact app, just like you share Google docs!
Shared Contacts for Gmail ® enables Google Workspace, previously known as G Suite, Gmail or Android/iOS users to create and access team address books. Shared Contacts can be created and accessed from anywhere in their work space (Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Drive, Calendar, Mobile phones etc.)
With Shared Contacts for Gmail® you can create Contact Distribution Lists (aka “contacts labels”), organize them easily, and share them by defining permissions exactly like you would do with a folder or a Google Doc in the Drive:
View Only
Edit
Delete permission
Re-share
Transfer of ownership
Whether you compose or read an email, visit your Google contact Manager or use your phone contacts app, you will always be able to pick, add or edit shared contact in one click.
Unlike other contacts sharing solutions, Shared Contacts for Gmail brings shared contacts capabilities everywhere. For instance, when you send or receive an email, you can see the relevant information of each sender and recipient (like with a CRM):
Email, Phone, Company, Job Title
Notes added to the contact
Previous interactions you had with this contact
Shared Contacts for Gmail is built to enhance your Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Drive, Calendar, your mobile contacts app etc. to include contact sharing features without need to use a third party tool.
It boosts productivity of all Gmail and Google Workspace, previously known as G Suite, users, by providing a solution to a huge problem that Gmail and Google Workspace do not solve i.e. the ability to share contacts and contact groups, just like you share documents with your team members. It will help you to be more effective while collaborating in real-time.
It offers a 15-Day Free Trial [no CC required] to try and see how it can help your team in improving your business.

Yes, it is actually made for teams.
Anyone who uses Google Workspace (previously known as G Suite) or Gmail for their business or teams.
This is an option for people who simply do not have the time or patience to search their phone book for contacts, even if it is not the best choice. An organization with a lot of representatives really benefits from this. With shared reaches, you can fundamentally see everybody's contact data without looking too carefully. You don't actually have to glance through that organization index; Simply typing the name and the first few letters is all that is required. The technology itself can be described as a "sign up and forget" technology due to its usefulness. It is so ingrained in the Gsuite that you hardly ever notice that it is there.
We had a lot of faith in this product, so we worked hard for months to make sure it was distributed correctly. Tragically, my group was unable to use Shared Contacts for Gmail®. So much so that it began erasing 3,471 contacts from our G Suite Google Contacts Super Admin Account, the account from which the data was being shared, without providing the company with any justification for its actions.
We collaborated for several weeks with Ricardo and his team (thank you, guys!), But in the end, because we can't afford to lose what we're trying to protect and use more effectively, we were too worried to continue: our networks!
I'm presenting this audit as a result of our involvement in the company after discovering that the product was not being widely advertised. We were totally disregarded when we requested a discount. There was neither a response nor an email stating that this was impossible. Over 2.5 months have passed with next to no reaction to the various messages that have been sent.
This is very frustrating, and I would trust that Common Contacts for Gmail® has the incredible skill and uprightness important to give a discount if their item doesn't work as expected. We lost hundreds of dollars after spending too much time trying to make things work.
