DeepCode started, as an ETH Spin-off, in 2016 with the vision and passion of the founders to automate software engineering tasks through AI. Prior to that, they have spent more than 5 years in researching and publishing in the areas of learning from Big Code and program analysis, both later proving to be key ingredients for a robust AI platform for software code.
During those research years, the founders launched other successful AI tools reaching more than 500,000 developers worldwide.

In early 2018 DeepCode launched its first publicly available service: AI Code Review.
Our language-independent code-platform learns from the quickly evolving knowledge of the development community and enables us to rapidly launch any service requiring a deep understanding of the functional intent of software code.
