For monitoring and report generation, there are many options available, but when it comes to automating corrective actions on critical issues, only a few tools fit the bill, one of which is Serverless360. In our case, the support for automatically resubmitting the Service Bus dead-lettered messages seemed to be extremely beneficial.
Before Serverless360, we were associating alerts with each Azure service and monitoring them individually, but Serverless360 helped us to overcome this issue we were facing for a long time by grouping all the resources into a business application to provide us with a context and make monitoring a breeze.
The product is a bit difficult to learn and adapt to at first, but once you get used to it, it is a wonderful tool.
Serverless360 stands out with its ability to track the flow of messages across your applications involving different Azure and on-premise services, visualize the data trends on interactive dashboards, alert and investigate critical issues whenever a business transaction fails.
Serverless360 has a few minor things I dislike, but those have been fixed in the new version that has been recently released.
Serverless360's Business Activity Monitoring has one feature that I personally like: it doesn't just alert when a transaction fails; it also allows to reprocess them so that business failures can be quickly corrected.
With native Azure monitoring tools, monitoring individual Subscriptions in a Service Bus Topic was a challenge for our organization, but with Serverless360’s advanced monitoring and alerting, we could monitor each Subscription individually on different metrics.
It seems that it's challenging to get started without basic training. But the UI is user-friendly, and they have a good support team to help anyone get started with the platform.
