This tool is very useful on web testing for non-technical folks/ layman.

AUTOMATON, an automation solution gave me a flexibility to automate the manual tasks. It is also a tool that can be easily integrated with a continuous delivery model. Since Automaton is API enabled, I could easily integrate this with my CD framework.
Application testing.. we all know the high importance of this phase in a product development rght.. This quality check process on a product involves a lot of testing in various aspects., like the APIs, DB, functionality, security, .... Come on there are many things to test in a product. Automaton provides an easily to use, user friendly, script-free testing automation solution. And it also gives a detailed test report wherein I can see how many steps have been tested successfully and how many have failed. Go straight to the place where it failed and fix the things. Easy.. Isn't it? That's what even I felt for the first time.
The best part is script-free process automation. Yes.. you don't need to know scripting or coding (Yayyy!!!) Go to dashboard create a test case with widgets, provide inputs based on what you need to test. Of course you can define the test execution flow. Done.. Automaton is an easy tool that we can able to do the testing in an efficient way. It uses open source tools such as selinium web driver. I can able to see that even non technical users can also use this tool to automate the testing process. It is easily customizable and flowchats are used while creating the test cases that can be easily understandable by anyone by seeing the flowchart. By using automaton, the reports can generated easily and it is having clear visibility. All kind of testing activities like api test,log test,db test, mobile test can be performed by simply creating test cases by drag and drop.
I dont feel any disadvantages of automaton product since it is a good tool for doing testing automatically
All these while I have been using multiple applications for different testing activities involved. However Automaton has been a game changer in this aspect where I don't have to juggle between multiple applications for different activities. Its an one stop application for all those testing deliverables be it test case preparation, setting up and managing test repositories, execution, reporting and analysis. Every testing phase always involves some sort of manual test if not entirely and maintaining the large volume of piling regression suites has been hassle less in case of Automaton. Also we can consolidate and perform the different testing required to be performed like API testing, Integration testing etc.
I have been using it for around 7 months and i have not come across any such issues. Even if we get any THIS team is always ready to resolve it at the earliest and provide end to end support.

• With over 2,000 manual test cases which include front end, API and integration testing, the quality assurance process for the Repopro application was quickly becoming very challenging to maintain
• Out of which Regression test cases are identified based on each release specific areas. For each release, regression suite comprises of approx. 300 to 500 Test cases
• The application was constantly growing (more features were added) and we had to find a way to reduce testing times. increase the amount of test cases and improve the system quality overall without introducing more additional testing time
• Manual execution of release specific testing along with Regression testing is very time consuming.
