Cloud9 was a major switch from the server-based software we used to have. They integrated three separate databases into one all-access database and walked through the set-up and training process with organization that could be easily followed. They are very open to suggestions for improvement, and I am happy to say that some of my favorite requests have been updated. They are moving to a fully HTML site this year from Silverlight, and that makes the program function on nearly anything connected to the internet. They integreate with the most popular 3rd party software features that are offered. The three top things about Cloud 9 are: 1) Availability to access from home if needed (The Dr. can access treatment plans and images outside the office, or office staff can reschedule snow days from home). 2) Easy access to customer service and customizability of program features, 3) All of our printers, labelmakers, signature pads, etc are all easy to use on this program.
There have been a couple of times where internet access in the office or service with Cloud9 was down that made the program inaccessible. Those times pale in comparison to how grateful we were to have a service to use at home to access patient charts during COVID to remotely reschedule and triage emergencies.
I love the easiness of it. I like how easy it was to learn and how to teach others how to use it. I like the customer service part also!
I don't like that you have to push several different buttons to get something to print and also to dismiss a patient.
That you can access it anywhere. That is super nice because with our previous software you had to physically be on the server to do so. It is super simple to work and that’s great too.
That you have to have internet access 24/7. If our internet crashes then we are screwed trying to see patients charts

How fast running the software is, we came from a software that took FOREVER to load anything. To me overall, the software is the fastest and smoothest software I have ever used.

It is very up to date and anything you need they are happy to help with, the website is easy to use and I can do a lot of things like letters to anyone I need email or print, scheduling is very fast with it as well.
Sometimes printing labels you need can be a hassle, but there isn't much I can complain about.
We use it for orthodontics in our office and we have had problems with our scanners before that they fixed super quick but nothing else all little things really.
