Had a call with Hollie-High who ran me through the website and how the UI works, she was very friendly and helpful while showing me how to work through the hub.
No bad comments about BrightHR, Hollie showed great customer service and it looks to be a good HR hub.
It seems simple enough. What I have seen of the system it looks ok although not convinced it will work for us. See below.
Duplication of phone calls trying to sell us the product even after we've bought it.
Training too rushed in a bid to close the session after 30 mins only.
The system has repeatedly crashed during the two attempts I've tried to use it since signing up, so this gives the impression it is not going to be reliable.
Some of the content is incorrect; the two options of setting up staff, one of which is a variable hours contract says it is not for 'zero hours staff' yet there is not option to put these staff elsewhere and it has to be used.
The permissions section, last drop down box, gives the impression managers can go in and change their own absences which should not be allowed.
I am not confident this is going to work and hope I am proved wrong. Peninsula is a reliable company but I'm not sure all Bright HR staff are fully knowledgable of the product before training/supporting its customers.
It’s very straight forward and easy to use. There is App support too which is very handy.
I would like more options regarding contract workers and further integration into blip. Especially on the dashboard.
