SwiftKanban helps organizations and teams visualize their workflow and work on a visual Kanban board. The workflow or value stream through which work must flow to be completed is visualized on the Kanban board, using SwiftKanban’s powerful SmartLanes capability. SwiftKanban’s SmartLanes allow for pretty much any knowledge process to be modeled effectively, whether it is a product/application development process, a DevOps workflow, an IT helpdesk process, an HR recruitment process or an advertising campaign process! Work is visualized as Kanban cards of different colors to identify different work-type of classes of service or priority, as needed.
Once work is visualized and managed on the Kanban board, SwiftKanban provides many visual and insightful features to help manage and optimize the flow of work (using WIP limits), visualize problems/ bottlenecks (highlighting WIP limit violations, blocked or flagged work items), work that is being ignored or forgotten (waiting or aging work items) and make sure that there is smooth and optimized workflow through the system.
