Melio is a web-based accounts payable software that allows small and medium-sized businesses to conveniently pay bills via bank transfer or card, even for vendors who only accept checks while streamlining the entire payment process. Vendors receive a check or a bank transfer and don’t need to sign up to accept the funds.
When paying by credit card (2.9% fee), you can defer payments to the end of the billing cycle, holding onto cash longer and investing it back into the business. Using your credit card to settle payments you can also earn card rewards like cash back and points.
In addition, you can expedite payments to guarantee vendors get paid on time, but not a minute too soon. You can choose between same-day bank transfers, instant payments, or fast checks.
