Ability CCS OMS offers multi-user capabilities by providing an assignment to users with roles and rights.
User Rights: Accessing screens, reports, and other system functionality are all User Rights which are assigned within CCS OMS. Anything a User would be allowed to view, modify, print, select, or anything else is considered a ‘Right’.
User Roles:
When a defined group of Users is assigned the same system access Rights, this is referred to as User Role.
The User Role name is usually based on a specific job function (manager, call center support, order entry representative, administrator, etc.).
- Users can be assigned to a different Role at any time.
- Rights can be customized for an individual User within their assigned Role.
- Users can be assigned to more than one Role at a time.
- The system includes pre-defined Roles of Admin, Manager, and User which can be customized.
